Oh what the head gasket!

Got your old heads today i think. My dad just texted me... "you got a box lol. It says dart on it, the fock did you buy lol". Haha so im guessing you put them in the dart box? And yes i get my "lol" useage from poppa Deuling lol.

Ya I figured just using those boxes made the most sense, but how about the Miata box with the valves and springs? :haha:

They look good to me. Did the shop clean them? I figured they woulda been full of oil. Or did u spray em down? Oh and i set them on my buddies doorstep right before he got home yesterday before opened. (the guy thats still waiting for his darts) and oh man was he pissed at me whwn he opened em ahahahah:haha:

When I get a little cash Ill bring em down to the shop and get an exact quote. My buddy had his heads gone through for like $200 there. Shouldnt be much more.
 
I am sure the efi is ok but not all engines like 12.5 for the max power, also those EFIs aren't changing the dist timing so how do you know that it wants down low and what it wants a wot. Hell we even found power with my too small lpg carb.

It's easy, you changing the timing curve and see what happens. I agree dynos are better than seat of the pants, but ETs and MPH are better than dynos.

And granted the EZ-EFI doesn't have near the adjustability of XFI or Big Stuff 3, but you can change the A/F ratio at idle, cruise, and WOT seperately. It interpolates between cruise and WOT up to a certain load, then it uses all WOT settings.
