ok so first pic is a teaser pic of my motor that i bought off 70jimmy. from what he told me its a mid 70's 350 4 bolt main, bored 40 with flat top pistons, stock heads, comp cams extream 4x4 cam with matching hydro lifters and valve springs. edlebrock performer intake, 600 cfm carb, and flo tech headers. will have a stock HEI with a accel super coil. then for the pretty i still need to get valve covers, and air cleaner cover. the second pic is what its going into, my 86 with sm465/208 and 10 bolts. after the motor and winch install its on to a shackle flip, with 4 or 6 inch springs up front and the 3/4 ton rear springs i have. then d60/14bff combo with either 36's or 37's. then the last pic is just my daily driver and that is a pic of going over the mountain to pick up the motor. enjoy and tell me what you think

your future setup sounds sweet! alot like what i have minus the 14bff, d60, shackle flip, and fancy engine:crazy:! but maybe someday, the blazer looks like a real clean one to start a build! make sure you thread it up so we can follow along cant wait to see the the progress man!:D

ya i have spent the last 6 years doing a slight rebuild on truck itself. i bought it from my parents all stock and it was in really bad bad shap. so it ended up getting
1.new doors, hood and paint inside and out.
2. roll on bed liner
3.new rear window and channel,
4.built a rear heavy duty bumper for it
5. new grill,light covers
6.headliner new seats and rubber flooring
7.2 inch lift with 2 inch blocks and new 3/4 ton rear springs
8.33/12.5/15 big O xt's on 15 year old chrome wheels
9. slightly rebuilt the axles and put 4.11's or 4.10's or whatever in it

basically it was my dd for high school and college and i had to get it running good so it was reliable then i did the typical high school thing of making it look good before i did the mechanical so now im playing catch up.

I love it man its a great lookin blazer and we all know already that these things are life time work in progress projects! kudos to all the work you have done so far!

Sounds like great plans:D That motor combo is extremely similar to the 400 I'm currently building, well, except for the displacement difference:doah:

ya im interested in what the power output is gonna be at the crank, my old 350 was a rebuild so i belive it was bored 30 but everything else was stock on it, except for the headers and it have some decent power so im getting excited to see how this thing runs.
