    Just out of curiosity what is the oil capacity on 6.2 & 6.5L's?

    7 quarts with filter...unless you use the big 2 quart filter then it'd be 8.

    7 and 1/4 on mine...perfect to the full mark after running 5 minutes and sitting all night.

    Ya, don't pull off the free way with the wrong color car down there... Think primer grey is a safe color? :haha:

    Anybody know what the capacity is on a 6.2L used in the CUCV's? I was told 8 quarts but have heard 7 like the civy trucks...?:confused:

    Its the same exact oil pan, oil cooler and filter system as the civi trucks.
