Oil for 2001?

i've used mobil 5w-30 in my 2001 8.1l since was almost brand new. Just wondering what everyone with a later chevy pickup use for oil and why Thankss matt

Valvoline 10W-30. Why? Because it is good oil. My 4.3 has just over 180,000 miles. Does not burn or leak any oil, the oil is still clear (like new oil) when I change it, and the engine still has 70 psi oil pressure at start-up, 60 psi while driving, and 40 when hot and at an idle. No need to change brands at the moment. Also, Slick 50 has been used since it was new, this is the only additive that I will buy.
