I just recently had a 700r4 tranny installed in my '87 CK5 Silverado and I've been driving it around my area,..and my oil gauge needle was all the way over to the right. But when I took a ride out on our rural gravel washboard roads,..all of a sudden my oil gauge needle is at the other side, at the low level. I checked my engine oil and tranny dipsticks and they indicated normal levels....what could be the reason for my oil gauge to do this? And also my gas gauge needle indicates empty until I shut it off then it show's how much gas I have. I'm just shakin' my head wondering where the problem is... any advice would be good.
