I have an oil leak, passenger side. Oil tends to puddle in the intake manifold right around the divorced choke. Those 2 bolts. I can't remember if I sealed the intake manifold bolts. I seem to remember that the bolts had sealer already on them but that was 4 years and 3000 miles ago. So I have some new double thick cork valve cover gaskets that I will install if need be. Driver side seems okay and I really don't want to have to pull the AC compressor to remove the valve cover and gasket. So what I am thinking is remove those 2 intake bolts that are in the affected area, clean the living crap out of them and the holes with carb or brake cleaner, and then goober the snot out of them with some ultra black and reinstall and see what leaks. If that doesn't solve the problem then we are looking at valve cover gaskets and or valve covers. So, I'm thinking if the valve covers are warped, then what would be a good quality valve cover replacement? Are cast aluminum covers better? Like maybe some Mickey Thompsons or Moroso or some other aluminum finned cover? Not sure if mine are warped or not, but just thinking of being able to do some research ahead of time while waiting to see if the intake manifold bolts seal and stop the leak. I can't do it today, but should have time tomorrow. Then maybe Tue when it rains I can do some leaf spring bushings.

You can remove the 2 bolts and seal them. I would refrain from brake cleaning them unless you change your oil after the repair. An anaerobic
Sealer is better choice than ultra black. Something like loctite flange sealer.
Retorque the whole manifold after.
For the valve cover gasket a thin coat, see through, of ultra black on both sides of gaskets will most cases seal stock tin valve covers.
