Drivers side cover, only leaks oil from the rear, bottom bolt. The leak is slow, but yesterday over a 200-mile trip, enough came out to move from the bolt to the reaer of the cover.

I changed the gasket last week to try to fix it. Used new bolts (proper length) and cleaned everything meticulously. I used Right stuff to hold the gasket to the cover and nothing between the gasket and head. I put a small dab of Right stuff in each bolt hole.

I'm using cast aluminum covers and not over-torqueing the bolts.

Kinda lost on a fix. I have some regular thread sealant I could possibly use.

Any ideas?

when I do mine I silicone it on both sides. not a lot just enough to make it stick and get a good seal. either that or get some of those rubber gaskets.
