Ok I have a oil leak and I'm not sure what the part is called i know where it is leaking from. Its on the driver side on the back side of the motor it looks like some kind of sensor or filter it has a wire coming from the top of it. It's a 350 motor, any help would greatly be appreciated

thats the oil pressure sender for the gauge.

Should be pretty cheap at the parts store.

No problem. We're all here to help build cool stuff.

How is the gauge not working correctly?

That could be correct, and the sender still leaks. Hard to say.

I had a TBI 350 last years under extreme abuse (I was in my late teens) with little to no oil pressure at warm idle.
