Today i finally found out where the oil leak is coming from.

Right above the oil filter. I think it is the oil pressure switch. anyone have any tips on how to get it done easire than me just tearing into it.

Also does anyone have the correct part number for the oil pressure sender. The one near the distributor. Pep Boys and Auto Zone both gave me the wrong part.

If I saved the box I may be able to help. (It really leaves a cloud of smoke when you r going up a steep hill dosen't it.

It does not leak that fast. Just fast enough to where i want to fix it. At the same time i want to replace the pressure sender bacause the gauge jumps around at idle.

Sorry Can't find it right now. If nobody post I will look in the moring when I have a little more light because I'm sure I have that box somewhere I just tore up my carpet to check the floor pans and it was under the seat.

Do you have a factory aux oil cooler?
Those have o-rings and gaskets that are right above the filter too and they are also prone to leaking.

Sorry did not find the box (should of looked before I post). The first time I went to get one they gave me the wrong one too. I removed the old one and took it with me the second time. As far as removing it I cawled under my truck and reached up and removed it with a wrench.
