The oil cooler lines on my 2006 chev 2500 with the 6.0 eng are leaking after only 80,000 km. This seems to be a recurring problem with these trucks. Does anyone make better qualiy hoses that will solve the problem permanently? Or could some be made up at a hydraulic supplier. I really hate the prospect of replacing these lines 6 times during the life of this truck, as I have gotten over 400,000 km on previous trucks. Thanks.

Are thoose hose or cooper lines??

i got some extra strenght hose on my oil cooler and special fitting for the preassure (like if its a lot of it), no problems so far, i got the type that has the poly braid exterior from a local shop

I am not sure exactly. They are partially aluminum hard line and flexible hose, much like a really long P/S hose. I have replaced them multiple times on earlier trucks.
