Where is the correct place to connect a mechanical oil pressure gauge to my L29 7.4l vortec?

Oil pressure gauge question

Might not get as many hits here as you would in the garage.
I don't know much about the big blocks, IIRC on the earlier ones the gauge could be connected directly above the oil filter.

I'll snap one when I get home. I know on the drivers side rite above the oil pan rail there's a row of 1/8"npt plugs that ive hooked oil pressure gauges to also.
