Does any one know what size the oil pressure gauge sending unit size is? Im adding a turbo and want to put in a T where the sending unit is at, so I can run the sending unit and turbo supply line off it.

Hmmm.I just took out a snapped off oil sending unit from a parts 6.2 motor I have to,but cant remember if its 1/8" NPT or 1/4" NPT--I think it was 1/4"NPT though..it's an '87 motor..

Most if not all the kits use one of the ports over the oil filter location on the block, The only reason I am suggesting this is because if the motor is still in the truck than that area of the block where the sender screws into is almost impossible to get to.

Isnt it back kinda on top on the driver side by the vacuum pump? Im pulling off the intake manifold so it shouldnt be too bad.

It is in roughly the same spot as a small block has it.to the right of the vacuum pump farther back, looking from the fan end of the motor..right next to the firewall of course!..it IS a sucky place for it,but where ELSE would they put it,right??..
