I just bought a cluster of guages for my K5 and was wondering where does the oil pressure hose plug into the engine from the guage? Is there a certain spot where I can just screw the fitting into the engine? If so where the heck is it? Thanks.

I believe mine is screwed in behind the intake manifold towards the drivers side on top. I'v got a 400 but I think the 350s are the same.

The oil pressure fitting is in the same spot on my 388 (350 block).:waytogo:

yup , that spot exactly . Don't use the plastic line , go get the same size hardline from hardware store , or pirate one of a 75 or older blazer/pu :xmas:

You can put it in the block behind the distributor. There is probably a round bulb looking thing with a wire on it there now. It is the sending unit for your current gauge. You can unscrew it and put the fitting where it was. I usually use a small length of pipe (1" to 1 1/2") to make it easier to get my wrench on the fittings.

you can also go in the block on the side, directly above the oil filter boss usually.. a 1/8 NPT hole...
