Does any one use an oil slinger under the timing chain cover any more. It mounts in front of the crankshaft sprocket towards the cover. Can't seem to find one?

not yet, I'm trying to find out if one is required. The engine in my truck didn't have one, then again it had a wasted timing chain...Hmmm
