ok DUMB HEEP ?

Please don't kill me. I am asking this for a buddy. He has a 93 Jeep and is upgrading from a 4 cyl. to a inline 6. The transmission is a Dana transmission. He is wondering if the new motor is going to match up to the current transmission or is a new one going to have to be purchased.

AFAIK that transmission wouldn't be made by Dana.

If its a 5 speed its an AX5, the AX15 was behind the L6. It would bolt up but the AX5 is pretty weak.

yeah I would find a ax15 to put behind it. The ax5 that are behind the 4cyl cant even handle the power of that engine.
