well im putting a 4'' lift on my truck 1979 scottsdale k10, well the passenger side went great just some rusty bolts nothing my 6 foot cheater bar cant handle lol. the problem is the driver side with the steering arm.

well the three studs that have the cones on them that hold the steering arm is rusted out, like bad enough where i cant get a socket on them and bad enough where the only way there coming off is cutting them, here is where it gets interesting.

i have a truck im building a 79 bonanza that has the 10 bolt still under it but ill be runnning cross over steering so i was thinking about just taking the knuckle from the 10 bolt knuckle from my project truck and putting it on this truck.

what do you guys think should i just swap knuckles or should i try to restud the knuckle i have.

Swap knuckles.

Let me check my shop tomorrow. I may have one for you. Its in real good solid shape, no rust at all.

:haha:

Central Kansas.

I need to update my profile. I've been away from everyones mom for too long now. :doah:

well i figured id try to take the rusted nuts off so i could get the steering arm and luckly for me for me the studs came out un harmed after i ran die down them they looked brand new it took a 5/8 a 3/4 and a 9/16 hammered down on the rusted bolts to try to twist it off. i guess you just get lucky sometimes with things

thanks thatk30guy but i already got it fixed, thanks for the offer tho, i have to say a 4 inch lift on a truck with a really saggy suspension makes it unexpecdially tall lol
