I don't have torches to heat them up........ I've been spraying them with PB Blaster all day and using an impact wrench and my compressor and they don't even buldge. I NEED to get my front clip off soon so I can get started on my inner and outer rocker panel swap. I've never taken a front cluip off before and Rene gave me all the steps to remove it but I have removed a lot of bolts and so far the tops of the fenders right by the doors is the only place it seems to have loosen up any?? I also snapped off 3 of the 4 bolts that go in from the inner wheel well. I removed the radiator shroud. The rediator and the fan shroud are loose and can be removed any time but I'm waiting until the clip is loose enough to come off before I take them out. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Anybody in the Twin Cities area close to Hudson, WI willing to help for some beer let me know.

if they are the ones going to the frame, I had to use a long breaker bar to get them spinning then took the impact to em. Impacts dont really have much torque in my experience. Or lay a sawzall right on top of the frame mount and cut the bolt. cheap enough and you'll be replacing it when it goes back in any way. it will take a blade width out of the bushing but that wont hurt anything.

OK, I've thought about this.......... since I have brand new polyeurethane bushings and a new 2" body lift with new longer bolts and nuts...........can't I just snap the old ones off and pull them out from the bottom????

Definitely snap em off. Sucks that some of the fender bolts broke. On my Crew Cab I was able to get the nuts off from underneath, but no chance of the bolts popping up or separating from the bushings. We were able to lift up the front out of the mounts and then walk it forward from there. A sawzall or thin cut-off disc will take care of the rest.

Did you get the lower bolt on the fender? Right behind the front tire going from the body into the inside part of the fender. Then there are two bolts from the inner fender into the body nearby, they have the large washers. That should be it down below and behind the tires. Should be two up top of the fender, one you get easily with the hood open, the second you get access if you open the door.
