Oatsk5,Myself and 4570burb have finally Come up with an Off Road club, WE have been in Planning stages for over a year now. WE are the Colorado Canyon Crawlers. Its Official. We will have our first meeting January 29th @ Texas Road house here in Grand Junction. We hope that people here and around the area will want to join, as well as show up to the meeting. Should that happen and people can show up we could have meetings in Delta or Montrose or Glennwood once a month.... We will discuss it.
There is a lot of griping about what needs to be done and what can be done to save our trails. Well, Clubs are one good way of getting these things done. We already have new Trail Projects in the works for the GateWay area as well as Bangs Canyon and The Tabuache or how ever it is spelled. HAHA
This Weekend as a Club rep and a CK5 rep I attended the NOHVACC Conference. National Off High way Vehicle Coalition something I forgot their big name. The point is No one else was there from here. (Sept U wayne) With all the talk about saving our trails others should have been there. That having been said maybe you did not know about it, That will change and hopefully you can be at the next one. We have a Voice and we are heard.
Bottom Line WE want you in our CLUB!
There is a twenty five dollar fee per year, but there are perks that come with that. I'll let you know what they are as I get them Hammered out. WE have a chance to change some.... "Transform" some of the views that people have about Off Roaders for the good. Blazer Bash is a great start for that because it for the most part is GOOD Clean (Dirty) FAMILY FUN! WE The Colorado Canyon Crawlers will embody that That as well.
I know there is Time,Travel issues and even that Political BS that people do not like with a CLUB. Well WE stand a better Chance fighting to keep our trails UNITED than we do as individuals. If you have questions about This Club or the Trail Info I have Please Contact me. [email protected] or here!!!
I have lots more to say but we will see what happens. So thank you for your time and letting me post.
