OK, so its been a while UPDATED w/pics

Prepare for the tech noob questions-

I currently have an ORD shackle flip and a zero rate for 5" of lift, running stock springs on my V2500 Suburban with a 14bsf. I have a CUCV with the 14bff (1 ton spacing) that is going on the Burb ASAP.

Reading the write up, it looks like I will have to switch to your shackle flip to avoid having to move the perches.

What, exactly, will I need to do to make the conversion and use your new invention (and avoid grinding, welding and all of the things that you do so much better than me)?

all that you would need is the new front hangers and a shackle flip designed for a one ton and you'll be good to go.

Your only other option is to grind off the perches. Some guys just don't want to do that and some don't have access to a welder to put new ones on. These hangers make the whole affair a bolt on deal.

Very nice, as always, Kert!!!! Have you ocme up with a price yet, or did I miss it?

Sorry man, my bad. Forgot to do that while I was at the shop today. I'll get it done and posted tomorrow.

Did you ever figure the pricing on these? Also, I am still a little unclear, will they work with the ORD flip that I already have or do I need to go with yours and sell mine?

They will work with anything using a one ton spring perch spacing.

As for pricing I haven't had time to stop fabbing all week. I'll get it done though.

ok, now make one for the newer IFS rigs that lets them use the stock 3/4 ton spacing :haha: Never enough eh? ha.

Looks really good kert.

We had discussed this happening as we were assembling the prototype!:haha:

As soon as I can get some good photos it will be.

Do you think you can make some lifted front hanger brackets for both the front and rear springs?
