OK, so its been a while UPDATED w/pics

I am also thinking about the one for the front of the front springs to mount in front of the boy mount, so it can already be set for 52" springs......

Your talking, adding 2" to the front and rear hangers correct? 4" in the shackle flip N switch itself.

Front springs:

Front Hanger: 6" w/ built in x-member
Rear Shackle mount: 6" or 4" w/7" shackles

Rear Springs:

Front Hanger: 6" w/ built in x-member

Rear Hanger: I already have a shackle flip with longer shackles

Does that make sense?

I just do not want to run real tall springs.......the flatter the better......

Tell me what springs you plan to use and I can figure out the best way to achieve what you are looking for. PM me.

I am going to start by buying your B52. I need to give you a call.

As it came from the factory: 1985 3/4 T 2wd 454 carb th400 14bolt w/ towing package.

As is so far: front frame stripped for Dana 60, 14 bolt disc conversion, stock 52's for the front, 454 tbi conversion.

I wan to run 50" Michelins with minimal lift. I have cut alot of fender from the front and back of both wheel wells, and I plan on installing Bushwacker cutouts and moving them up an 1" higher than originally intended. I also am trying to move the front axles forward(3-4") some and the rear rearward an inch or two. I have bought ORD's zerorates and with your B52, I think I should be able to accomplish the axle moves. I would like to use the stock mounting location for the rear of the front springs.

I was going to use the longer front hangers for the front of the rear springs. I got it off of my donor Blazer, where I have gotten most of everything for all of the conversions!!!!!

No crawling for me. Beaches and Mud.

Is there any information that I missed that you need?

Like I said, Tall tires, minimal lift = creative issues!

Sounds like a good plan. Should cover everything I need to know. I see fender trimming in your future!

ok, now make one for the newer IFS rigs that lets them use the stock 3/4 ton spacing :haha: Never enough eh? ha.

Looks really good kert.

interesting thought, but not really easy. the stock spring spacing for an 88-98 truck is ~47", whereas the 1/2 and 3/4 ton 73-87s are 40". you'd have to inboard the spring 3.5" on each side at the rear (unsure of how much at the front. the springs begin to go under the frame at the rear at 2". even a 1 ton rear could get really tricky.

the front perches could get ugly too, since not only do you have to deal with the spring under the frame, but it appears that the perches between a LWB and a SWB are different, and the frame bends upwards right above the hanger.

edit: now in the pics, they look the same, but in real life they look different.

these are just for comparison purposes, the first two are my C2500, and the second two are my C1500. the last pic is the K1500 frame.

Not so much a production thing. we've done a few sets. Mrk5 has a set on his blazer. Pm me and we can discuss some details if you'd like.
