Do you have any ideas? Or preferences?
Is this trail rig, DD, or Show truck?
Do you want it to stand out or be subtle?
Too many questions to pick a scheme or color.
paint it white.
oh wait your done.
Light grey primer..................
I'd suggest the unofficial color of CK5...flat black.
I have a terrible monitor at work. White really is my favorite color. I would paint my woods truck white but one of my good friends truck is white and mines blue. average people only see the difference in color not the tires or lift or any of the stuff we notice.
so whats the count? 2blazers and a step side?
I say White, easy to take care of
It is important, as your herd increases in size, to keep them matching, or within a theme. I recently sold a truck solely because it did not match the others.
Since you have the desert tan topless rig, you could go with any sort of monochromatic look on the Stepside.
BTW, '74 was a good year. My 'wheeler and her tow rig are both '74's ... the CUCV, for obvious reasons, had to be newer
Let's see............'73 K-5 - green, '73 K-10 Fleetside - blue,
'74 C-10 Stepside - primer, '75 K-5 - sand..........
This "new" one will be my errand truck, part time DD, and Trout fishing truck.
I say paint it yeller.
or you could go kinda crazy and show truck-ish and go with that copper color that Stacy used on copperhead on Trucks... man i love that color...
An od green would make a nice match with the sand colored rig.
I agree, I think the Copper Head color would be "BAMF"!!
Also you can't say no Hugger Orange!
I really wanted to do this to my truck but the lines aren't the same with the 80s style front ends. So I hope someone does it:

Black Cherry, with silver pinstripes.
What color is the metal part of your dash?
You're right....................was gonna paint my one owner '73 K-5 that color, but it'll be a few years till it is as purdy as I want it to be. So fer the low mileage '74 stepside I just bought..............it's:
That is all I have to say
I've been waivering on what to paint mine.............I like the sound of flat
