Ok what oil to use for sharpening????

    I ain't tellin what I used, but what would be the oil to use for whetstone sharpening your knife????:confused:

    Honing oil. Made just for the purpose. In a pinch, 3-in-1 oil, or any other light oil will work. Oil for lubing firearms will work, Outers or Hoppes and whatnot. Hell, veggie or olive oil prolly works too.

    Cool thanks, and yeah I used veggie oil the first time, cause it was all I had...:haha: :haha: :haha:
