Was given some old front springs out of a square body. They have 5 leaves and say rancho freedom rider.

Anybody know anything about these springs? I would like to figure out how much lift, before I put them on.

Pics are worth a thousand words.

That said, I'm 99.9% sure Rancho never made a square body lift higher than 6" so that narrows down the field some.

My front ranchos are 3 spring so I'm guessing yours are a heavy duty variant. 2 inch has a slight uparc and my 4 inch sits just about 4 inches above the center if you measure at the center and across the soring eyes. Pics would help.

I was told my lift was a 4" Rancho but I'm not sure. Maybe Superlift or something. Anyway, It's 5 or 6 leaves, has yellowish polly bushing and said Taiwan on one of the springs. Not very much arch in the spring pack when on the blazer.

The springs are extremely stiff. I can put my full weight (well over 200) on the bumper, jump up and down and can barely make any movement. The rear springs which are stock will move up and down very easily just pushing on the bumper with my feet on the ground.

Anyway, this spring rate table may help.
