I got a TBI system off an 80's squarebody. I have all the parts, intake, distributor, computer, wiring, everything! Is it worth fighting with to put on my stock 350 in my 77 k5 blazer? I'm debating this route or a good holley offroad carb. What do you all think? which way should I go? It's not a daily driver, but it is driven on nice days and we wheel it alot.

Depends on how good you want it to run when your done and which ECM you have. If the tbi came off a similar vehicle and engine size, it should be fairly straightforward (I’ve done it).

You’ll need to add a knock sensor, provably a VSS, and a check engine light. Can get by without those, but they’ll set a check engine light(CEL) code and you need the CEL to figure out other problems with sensors. May also need to get a chip burned to turn off whatever sensors you aren’t using if you don’t have VSS, EGR, knock sensor, etc.

In my opinion, yes it's worth it. It will be a bit more work, and you may have to have a chip burned for you. But the end result on a nice stock 350 is better for wheeling and drivability. And you already have pretty much everything you need.
