old transfer case

I have seen it rotate on Craig’s list 3 times so I bet its going cheap.

Looks like a pto plate as well.

I want to say its a Rockwell case of some kind. IIRC, the old Boyce Equipment catalogs had pics of cases like that one with the parking brake on it. I couldn't even tell you what those came off of, but if I had to guess, I would say the old Jeep Gladiator sized trucks. Maybe the M715's?

I did some research because its killing me and it looks like it’s a np201.
The link is for the site I found it at.

http://www.jobrated.com/04_transfer_case_parts.html

the description for it was

NP201 1957 to 68 transfer case w100 w200 w300
Has 10 Bolt PTO Hole

I was going to say it can't be the 201 because it doesn't have the dual rear outputs, then I remembered it's the 200 that has the duals, the 201 is the single rear output.:D

Casting is IH not a scout but is a 60's IH ,1200 1300 truck

That was what I was told about the different casting so it is a np201 but the casting was particular to the 60's IH 1200,1300 trucks.

my source is http://www.jobrated.com

I e-mailed them and they are a great source

from the looks of it, don't ask a gear head about it, talk to a paleontologist or museum curator. I think they found one like this fossilized next to a T-Rex.
