Older Burb???

Took this pic today coming out of Powderhorn. I think its a 64 or 65, judging by the grill. Its 4wd. There is also a running driving 58 or 59 (4 headlights) 4 wd at the same location. Its kinda odd, has 5 lug wheels.

Update: just talked to the son of the owner of this truck. One thousand bucks, and its yours. PM me if anyone wants the woners phone number.

64-66 for sure. The 60-63 had different door/windshield.

Sorta looks like mine. The only changes between 64-66 were the badges, mostly the style, other than that there weren't any changes. Why can't I find those just lying around out here?? With 5 lug, the axles have been swapped or that conversion thingy....

One word. SALT!!!!

Colorado hardly ever uses it. Just about every vehicle that old that was driven in northeast winters has long since been reduced to iron oxide. I used to see stuff that old all the time when I lived in Colorado. Between the lack of salted roads and the semi-arid climate, sheet metal lasts a really long time there.

There's a driveway that looks VERY similar to that pic above just outside of Woodland Park, CO that has a couple of old Suburbans sitting all alone like that. There's still a lot of vintage iron sitting around in CO.

I found out today, this Burb can be bought for $1000. Its 4wd, and thats all I know about it. Located in Powderhorn, Colorado. Anyone who is interested, PM me for the owners phone number. Not mine, and no commission, just want it to go to a GOOD home. The owners DD is a 58/59 4wd burb,
