quick question for the knowledgeable ones
My cousin has a posi out of an older corvette, factory GM.
What year does it fit or came off of for that mater?
Is it desirable to anyone or just another factory posi unit?
It has spiders and clutchs. The springs are those flat S shaped things, unlike my eaton.

Is it out of the independent rear type, or a solid axle type?

This is an IRS type, with an Eaton carrier. not rebuildable anymore. This was used in 63-64 Corvettes

This is a 65+ IRS unit, it has the Dana carrier. It is worth some $$$ to the Corvette community. Look on Ebay for the same. Do you know what gear ratio it is?
