ive got a '85 diesel with hydroboost and am trying to hook up a psc steering box with flare fittings (not o-ring like stock). i know the steering pump has the fitting that can be changed out (did that on the last truck), but the hydroboost setup doesnt have anything like that. i know the early 70's trucks with hydroboost all had the flare fittings i need to make it work, but they didnt have diesels with them. so i guess my question is, is a diesel hydroboost setup the same as a gas hydroboost setup? also, are the 70's ones going to basically be the same, or where there improvements? hope that makes sense? thanks
