I've got 8 lug hubs sitting on the shelf. Theyre the kind with the external lockouts. My axle is a dana 44 with 10 bolt hubs and spindles on it. I dont have the original spindles from the external hubs because I was an idiot and scrapped them. Will the older style hubs work with the newer style spindles?

some swap. but if i recall the old bolt un hubs for 3/4 ton and early dana 44 used smaller inner bearing setup. the later ones used bigger bearing inner.

best to check or watch evilbay at times. or post a wanted ad in the sale section here.

Yeah I posted a wanted ad. I cant believe I didnt have the smarts to keep the spindles when I bought that axle... Theyre only gonna be temp until I get a 60 in there...

Ugh no I dont have 3/4 ton backing plates. I thought the rotors were physically the same thing just on the outside just different piston?

daaa :haha:

and 3/4 ton rotors 1" bigger = bigger backing plate.

might better at this point just dump the money in the 60 and be done.

I cant. Dont have the money for it because I want to do the back of the truck first. But I cant do the back of the truck w/o getting my 8 lug 14b under it........

I gotta hit a u pull...
