OMG....Its all i can say about this ebay listing

There are restorers who pay silly amounts for original parts, but how does repainted qualify as all-original? Why not re-paint a junkyard one and have the same thing?

I want some of what he's smoking...

I sold a small grill for a corvette for 500 dollars

If you read the add, that's what they did.

"Fan and the paint on it are in excellent condition, with no scratches: repainted to match original texture and finish because there was excessive shelf wear."

Can it still be called original then?

There is someone , somewhere , right now , that would gladly put that on their Camaro or Chevelle , if it was made in the right timeframe their car was built . I love the internet :thumb:

Oh boy! What a deal! Give me your credit card number so I can Pay Pal him! I'll pay you back, honest!

1968-1958

Appears to be used with a short water pump.

REALLY! Gee, I never would have thought a chevy small block from 1958-1968 would have a short waterpump.

just insane what the resto guys do, date coded everything. Who cares if your waterpump was actually made 5 years after your car was, you probably have to take it off to see the date code anyways.

x2......

Paint apparently isn't an issue with those guys... it's the numbers that count. You don't see rust bucket cudas going for 300k because they are "original"

`Think about it though. you sell one of those a month and you don't really need to work much anymore lmao.
