after 3 long months of the burb being axleless and off the road i drove it around tonight...it has a 6 lug 10 bolt in front right now cause i need to do a full rebuild on my 8 lug 10 bolt but its good enough to tow with...here are some before,after and present pics...


before little bit of lift,35s,primary tow rig

513s,38s and a inch more of lift..no longer a tow rig

and present...33s,zero rate rear,stock front only for crusing and towing...

thanks man...I kinda want to loose the front bumper now but i cut my frame horns to put it on so i need to make a new one or modify this one or something...

it looked good with the truck on 38s...now it looks out of place...mabye it will grow on me more as time goes on...

nope it got a 350 and 373s...its not the greatest tow rig but its paid for and i have been using it for years...i would not want to pull another burb with it but it does fine with a blazer...

wow...thats surprising, but I guess with stock size tires it wouldn't be too bad.

dontoe has 35s on his 3/4 ton burb and pulls his blazer everywhere...his trailer is a little lighter than mine though...

3.73's or 4.10's? A 'sub would make a sweet tow rig if it had the cajones...

we used to have a '78 C20 'sub with the "camper special" package... big block, th400, 4.10's... that thing pulled nicely and was comfy too!

mine does fine for pulling not great but it works well....i like it cause ya dont need a tent if ya go camping...

i dont know what gear dontoes truck has...
