Is it possible to get a sticky going for "On-board storage solutions"?

I was reading some of the results from a search and it seems like a popular enough, though scattered about, subject.

How bout we share some of our set ups. From hi-lift jack mounts, tool boxes, driveshaft and axle storage, ice chests, and first aid.

I'm currently trying to set up my truck for BB, which will be the first time I've ever needed to carry extra parts and such. I like the PVC tubes for holding shafts. I might mount them to the floor curb behind the front seats.

For now, to participate, here's my jack mount. Stainless exhaust clamps with SS bolt going through, sway bar rubber ends, and some nice wing nuts I found.

Does it have to be Chevy specific? Got a new bed rack for my Raptor that is pretty awesome and a talented fabricator could knock something similar out for a K truck:

Ideas are ideas

I'd like more full bodied blazers, just to help myself, but this shouldn't be about myself. That idea with the jack incorporated and ice chest on top looks great.

This is probably only useful to stepside guys:

Pull 2 fender bolts and replace them with threaded rod. Drill 2 holes in whatever tool you want to mount and secure it with wing nuts.

Also unlimited cargo tie downs with eye bolts into the wood bed floor.

I've seen a step side that had custom made toolboxes, that were made into the fenders, sort of like a utility bed has...thought it was a cool idea...there is a ton of wasted space under the tops of the fenders the tires will never be able to reach even with the suspension fully compressed...

great thread idea, I've been looking for some storage solutions recently.

Ok
I didn't like my original box as it was too big and heavy, so I had a couple smaller boxes made using some extra material I had. These fit in the cargo area better. Plus they hold more than my single box. They are bolted down using the existing seat belt mounts. I've got tools, spare parts, and all kinds of stuff stashed in them. My spare D60 shafts are stuck between the seat and boxes, along with some Misc stuff and a camping chair. Very tight, not going anywhere.

My first aid backpack is off to the side with one loop slipped between my fire extinguisher. I borrowed an air tank for this trip, it's tied down to the rollcage far left. The 5 gallon bucket with lid is for fluids, in case any of them leak.

I also came across a decent way to store radiator water. I bought some distilled water but the bottles are thin and the caps are pop on. Since I drink a lot of Gatorade, there's empty bottles laying around. BAM! Easy way to carry 2 gallons of water that wont spill, break, or take up too much space. Plus I have 1 gallon of coolant in the bucket. :D
