Onboard welder-Part II

Re: Onboard welder

No I never replaced it because it puts out enough to weld good. But I know if I replaced it with a new one I could get higher voltage. The only thing I know for a fact amp wise is that most of the Lincoln alts are higher amp units than the other makes. If you go to a parts place to get a new one I have found that you can get higher that stock amp alts for most aplications (I saw a 120 amp listed at Napa) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I had not finished up re installing this since the body swap.So I was out hooking up the power wire to the control box today and wondered if this post was still on the server. And what do ya know it is :D

So I fixed the pics and bought this post back up from the depths for the noobs who have never seen how easy it is to make your own welder :D

I didn't know people still wheeled around here:D

What? You didnt see the dumb "How many people actually wheel" post? :haha:

Hows OK. these days? :D

Sucks as usual. The weather sucks, most of the people suck and the only thing that keeps me here in the good paying job that allows me unadulterated access to mash the gas and hang on for hours on end.

Oh and the fact that I can be on the dirtbike and blasting down the dirt in less than five minutes:D
