...was remove the front axle u-joints! whew I almost gave up, but instead got a BIGGER BFH (malleable face) and beat it like a redheaded stepchild... after the first one, you get the hang of it and the 2nd one is much easier.. was fun while it lasted NOT. thanks for the smashed thumb, spicer!
