being that fabworx is right down the street from me means i got to see this bad boy in person. I saw it a few months ago then saw this pic in the back of petersens this month. Tiny told me i can't divulge any info on it back then, but you can check out more of it in next months issue...

what i can tell you is...double triangulated 4-link rear...with UBER beefy parts. 454 big block which they were building in past issues, obvious fiberglass fenders, dynatrac axles, 39" krawlers. custom everything.

yeah when I saw it was when I was planning my 4-link and Tiny (fabworx owner) said to come on back and check it out. It was just a beater to start with, dented panels and what not, flat black paint, etc. But they had the underpinings done. Very nice stuff, fabworx does a good job, they are just mucho cash-ola. Inever stopped in to check in on it. But i'll have to swing by and see if it's still there now. Liucky punks get to do all the fun stuff :-D

Not seeing the extent of the cage and bodywork, I would guess at least $50,000 :eek1: if the tubing is all chrome-moly and all the joint welds are TIGed. And, if those quarter panels were done from scratch.
Very, very clean  .

i think they are new fiberglass taht is available now. I've seen them in another post on here before. The tube is DOM (i think) and is MIG'd.

be cooler without the body. Hard to imagine either that blingy paint or those front fenders lasting more than 5 mins. Shoulda just left them off and rattle canned the tube.

Thats' one ugly moon buggy.

Where is the sick blazer? I just see a high dollar custom chassis, suspension, funky clip, and drivetrain.:D

it is blazer, not a custom moon buggy. Has a blazer frame and tub just fiberglass fenders.

I was just bustin' anyway. :wink1:

I'll have to go back and check out the write up in the mag.

I saw in Petersons where Jerrod Jones was driving it.I dont really dig the late model fenders on a k5 but it is different.Probally have more coverage in next months issue.

i don't think there is any write up about the truck, just the motor in a past issue. I think there might be a glimpse of it in the ultimate adventure article this month.... As for the fenders, yeah i don't know what i think about them, it looks trick from the front, but with the stock sbed sides it's kinda off. WIth some kewl new matching bedsides it would be trick!
