Ok looking for new tires for the DD. Went to the local rubber slinger and they quoted $240.00 per tire installed. Looked online and found same tire for $165.00 and know a local tire shop that will mount for additional $25 with road damage coverage and disposal.

Has anyone bought from online and any experiance of service and delivery, apreciate any input. I love doing business locally by $75-80 more per corner come on. The sad part is I have bought 4 complete sets from these guys in the past and sent them at least 5 new customers. Loyalty should pay for something.

I've used discount tire direct and tire rack before, no complaints with either. Shipping was as quoted as far as time and price, once to my home and my old work and new work.

Thanks. Did you take it to their web sponsered installers or use your own?

I did them myself, I used to work at a car dealer and was in good w/management, so they would let me use their equipment even after I had left. Now a buddy has a tire machine, so I can still mount, just have to have someone balance for me.

No problems with either Discount Tire or Tire Rack. Discount is free shipping, but overall prices are on a par with Tire Rack. Be sure to shop around, I needed some tires for my Corvette and an NTB was able to beat Discount's price and they mount and balance free if you buy from them.
