Anyone ever ordered tires from Onlinetire.com? I was just searching around and came across them, randomly selected 4 tires to see the shipping cost and it said shipping and handling would be $1,000 WTF are they smoking? and how are they sending these tires out? The tires I chose only came to be $1,200 for 4.

Try Tirerack, com I had got BFG mud's 33x1250x15's for 185.00 each don't recall the shipping Ill have to pull invoice when I get home tonight. They were shipped FedEx.

DiscountTire is on the opposite side of the shipping charge spectrum....

They shipped my 38" KM2s for free. The price to my door ended up lower than anyone else. Most places will gouge you on the shipping to make up for a cheap tire price.

:usaflag:

Barring you're buying 54's I think that may be a glitch. I priced them in March on some 33's and the shipping was normal. I just happened to stumble across a local place that could beat their price so I didn't use them.

They are 37's, and I'll definitely have to check out DiscountTire. AJM, I hope it was a glitch, it looks like they are shipping out of California and I live in Louisiana. I checked a smaller tire but the shipping was still almost the same as the tires cost. What happened to less expensive tire prices?

What happened to less expensive tires? .............$100 oil.

Yup, although that still seems oddly high. Hard to say.

I did get sticker shock when I started pricing my 33's in February. They aren't $150 any more!

HOLY CRAP! On a whim I just looked up a set of 37x12.5R17's shipped to me in Kentucky. $1158 in shipping for four!

Gotta be high price of oil raising shipping prices or they're just crazy.

Jeez, something has to be up. Just priced out the four 33's I bought in March for $800 locally. Their price was about the same. Now the shipping is another $600!

Yea they have the highest shipping I have seen anywhere, I guess they are personally delivering them, putting them on your truck, then mowing your grass and painting your house. And the thing is their tire prices aren't that much lower than competitors to warrant ridiculous shipping and handling.
