Only Driven Ta Church On Sunday...

Holy crap! I don't think I've EVER seen a truck that rusty before, and I've owned some seriously rusty trucks!

was that the entire drivetrain inside the cab???? wow... just wow.... meh, it might make an interesting cheap rock crawler after you tore the body off the frame :)

That needs some Armor All on the tires.

That's about at the crossover point where more corrosion actually makes it less rusty, simply because there is less there.

I had a 79 about that rusty not quite as bad - one day out on the trail the rear floor rust and parts of the frame gave way and the gas tank just fell out on the trail. After that it was time to let her go.

The motor was donated to our local car club for a giveaway.

I called the junkyard that owns it, and hope to negotiate to buy it. I may trade it for the 5 scrappers I'm gonna' cull in the country. Of course I'll get some coin, but I like having lotsa' extra parts. And I don't have any Blazers at my scrap yard! And the Fisher Plow stuff is all there...

I sold the Blazer on eBay to a guy in chicago. He drove it 1000 miles, no problems. 3/4 ton SM465, 1 owner.

The Bronco is 4 sale, every yahoo and his cousin has called and it just sits. Just asking $200 more than its scrap value. runs fine!

You sure find some interesting stuff.. I'm jealous of the junk yard :D

Don't think I've EVER found a truck that bad around here... heck my '67 bronco that sat out in the weather for 15 years unused and had black berries growing through the floor pans was pretty straight and clean(sold for $2000 too, which was not enough :doah:). My uncle just scored a '70 Nova that'd been sitting since the 80's in the bushes and there is NO rot on that thing.. just surface rust.
