i got the front from a guy in wyoming who was selling a matching dana 70 with it, but the d70 was junk so i just typed in 456's on craigslist to find a matching rear gear set and came acrossed a guy selling a d60 rear just 20 mins from me.
craigslist seems to be the best place for me, instead of typing dana 60 also try axles or certain gear ratios
i found my rear axle listed under 456, so its amazing how many times you might pass up a axle when searching only because the seller has it listed wrong.
now the fun part, dumping more money into it.
There are FEW things on craigslist you will find for good prices by searching. All the deals are the stuff that is mislisted. I RARELY use the search and expect to find anything. Browsing the ads is the way to go. Only really successful searches are words like BMW and suburban (but have to search burb in addition).

No kidding, only crappy part for me is that I can go through all the parts listed in a day on craigslist around here in about 1 minute.![]()

yeah no ****, just ordered gears, rebuild kit, and a king pin rebuild kit...

That's just the start. You still need high steer, a Detroit, 35 spline outers, new hubs or flanges, some armor(Razor back) and possibly some non neck down inners.
You don't really need any of that. It just happens.![]()
That would be a 3" steering block for a stock steering setup.
