Dont mean to rub this in any ones face :whistle: but Im getting a 76' 3/4 ton with one tons for $500 every thing but the motor. Im a little happy:D
 
yeah, does it have a dana 60 front ? if not then youre still getting a deal, but if its a 1 ton then youre stealing it

if it is a d60 front.. welcome to the 1 ton club :haha:
 
44's have kingpins also. Refer to the differential guide to determine exactly what you have.

Oh and... congrats. :D

my truck is a 1978 camper special 3/4 ton... the only real thing of the camper specials is the heavier duty rear stock springs and 4.56's which is nice... other than that mine came with a d44 front.......:crazy:
 
Yeah I got ya beat.....1976 3/4 ton front and rear for $100.00
 
lol got you beat....free 77 1 ton and free 78 3/4 ton. 1 with 4.56s and the other with 4.10s.both with th400/203s

Not trying to bust your bubble,but some of the mid 70's Chevy's had the Big hub Dana 44's,or driveflanges and a lot of people think they are a dana 60.If you have saw it and it does have kingpins,then congratulations you got a good deal,if you are taking someone else's word for it,you better check before you lay the money down.There is a guy here local that has one and swears it is a 60,when pressed about it he said it was "extra heavty duty" and it was a special order item.

44's do not have king pins. They have ball joints.
