I might get long winded if so I apologize, I did a big uh oh. I bought an 86 k5 several years ago and bought a 91 blazer a year later. I had both, swear I did ujoints in both. Remembering my 86 had a bastard ujoint that was a pain to find and this one normal. Well 4 years later I noticed this week is getting worse vibration in my 91. I thought dang can’t be ujoint. Well sure as crap is. I looked for my markings when I pull driveshafts and seen none. This rear end always had little vibration and clink into gear but not alarming.
Well here we are now. After getting a 1.188 ujoint from the parts store it’s another bastard ujoint (my luck). I have learned my lesson (finally) but a cheap notebook and pen in the glove compartment of stuff you’ve done and with specifics will get you further in life.

Is it a 3R U joint? That's what was stock in a 91, unless someone swapped yokes.

Does it have an axle swap? Not sure why it’s a bastard joint?
Sorry I’m not online that often, it’s a 12 bolt rear end, factory or not I don’t know, it’s been definitely something.. posi, aftermarket big diff cover. It’s geared correct to the front 3.73 is my guess.
My 86 had a 14 bolt rear end. Seems like nothing is easy around me lol.
P.S. I bought a notebook.
