Was attempting to replace fuel pump on 6.2L CUCV. I did use a line wrench to remove hardline from pump. Brass fitting still stripped. Now I am stuck.

Got dark on me, and I quit before I got too pist off. A quick look revealed that I may be able to remove the hardline from the fuel filter back. I am hoping I do not have to take of the intake and can snake it out and a new one back in.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to continue to remove the fuel pump, or if taking the fuel line completely off is do-able. Then, if I can remove it, how to find a replacement. Does not look like LMC has what I need. There is a donor CUCV at a junk yard but it's a 100 mile round trip and I am tapped for cash for the month. Need other parts and would like to make one trip for all of them.

I take it your working on the injector pump? I'd say just pull the intake. It will make life so much easier at this point.

No, the lift/fuel pump. The brass insert holding the fuel line into the pump stripped. It was big ones to finally remove, but I pulled the hardline from the filter to the pump with the pump attached out from under the intake. I was able to remove the line from the pump via Vicegrips and a hammer. I would never have been able to get it removed the other way, as it was seized into the pump fitting.

Now I have the fuel line out, but the brass connector to the pump is mangled. I am looking for source for this fuel line or other options to get it replaced. Many sell the 3/8th steel tube, but how do you get the ends flaired for the coupler to hold it into the pump?

Those ends are standard double flares. You should be able to get the nuts and the flaring tool at just about any parts store.
