Open Seat thread

I've been thinking about trying to make it out this year to help out. Might be easier if I could ride along with someone including the drive to Moab. Earliest I can leave is Thursday.

It's not set in stone that I can make it with the house move happening right before, but if I can ride along it would make the trip more likely.

Might be looking for one, over the weekend I blew my budget way out of the water and wasn't able to do my 9 months of savings to make this trip really possible.

Likely that two seats will be open most of the time. PM me to hitch a ride.

there is an off chance I may need a seat,

not set in stone, just pondering it

Did you decide to show up and ride? You honestly won't regret it!

sadly and unfortunately, no.

although my wife encouraged me to go it just really wasn't in the finances at this time. I saw some cabins available and when I do I think I will try to stay in one of those. I really didn't want to drive all the way up there and not have my own rig. I could have brought a Jeep but thought that would be tacky to show up at Blazer Bash with a Jeep. Or a buggy but from what I understand you have to drive on the streets and none of my buggies are street legal.

I hope to move Babe (https://ck5.com/forums/threads/91-exod-1-ton-blazer-4k-obo.249969/#post-2478347) into the shop over the long weekend to start cleaning and refurbishing on her. she has been sitting out in the open with no top for a few years. it is one of those things I regret but as my wife keeps telling me "not to dwell in the past just accept it and move on and do better."

then I have an 88 Blazer I kinda' want to fix up specifically for BB. but that seems kinda' dumb when I have the 91 that is already fixed up for rock crawling. the 88 has the basic 4" Rancho lift and 3" body lift on it. I have a 44/14 bolt that are locked with 5.13's to put in it and all kinds of tires from 36s to 44s, I kept the sliders and bumpers off my other 1 ton Blazer that I parted out to put on this one.

then I still have the 84 LNB that is languishing in the weeds out back that I want to put a 6" lift on and some 37s.

around 18 months left until I retire, looks like I got plenty of projects to keep me busy :pimp1:

We’d be happy to have ya. I matter what you drive

Street legal is a relative term for Utah right now. You can get a OHV pass and drive them. Or like mine it is registered as a street legal ATV.
