Alright Its time for some blazer cancer cutting I'm doing rockers, and front floorboards as well as a few other things...

I need some opinions

My floor in the back of my blazer is SMOKED and needs replacing I saw what Ryoken (I think) was doing and that is a possibility. but I was also thinking has anyone ever thought of using that plastic wood decking stuff and doing something similar to the back of an old pickup (uncles a contractor and has quite a bit of large chunks lying around). Would be no maintenece and easy to clean and you wouldnt have to worry about it rusting.

Also what are people doing for rocker boxes? my drivers side is salvageable but the p.o. put steps screwed right into the rocker boxes on. I knew the boxes were soft and didn't use mine but my friend stepped on it and totaled the already bad box. I was wondering if there was a different setup one could fabricate to get rid of the boxes and still get the support or am I going to have to fab some up out of 1/8 plate. I have done some searching previous posts as well as searched for replacement boxes for a 75 blazer and no one that I tried makes aftermarket ones.

Thanks

If I were you I'd get some 2x3 or 3x3 square steel and weld them into the body. Take them from behind the front fender to the front of the rear fender. This is common upgrade and gives you side protection if you weld some smaller runners down each side a lil wider then the doors.
