Opinions, Hooker headers

Okay, whats your opinion of Hooker headers ???? I've always used Hooker headers on all my V-8 motors and have liked them.

Have the Hooker super comp's on my camaro. Love 'em.

I've got regular Hooker comp headers on my 4wd, I like them fine and have never had a problem with them.

Hooker headers are the Cadilac of exhaust systems.

I've got cheep-os in the Jimmy and would swap-em out for Hookers any-day.

Just a side thought, the Cheep headers I have plugged into the Jimmy right-now, are actualy for a 1-gen camaro.
They fit and clear everything, plus the collectors are tucked up higher in the frame than other headerrs I've seen for 4WD Chevs. (all-though, the Jimmy isn't totaly plumed and wired right now, I don't foresee any clearance problems at this time)

JEG'S ( 1-800-345-4545 ) has the Hooker headers for the 2nd gen. fullsize Blazer 4x4 for $141.99 Part #5202452 and the coated ones $324.99 Part #5202452-1. I think that's a good price. I will be getting the coated ones after I do my lift.

my budy has the hooker pro comps on his burban. sounds good and performs great. i had headman. i should have cleaned them up on the inside a bit with a dremal. but they were good.

I put Hookers on mine when the new engine went in back in January. I have been quite pleased with them. I HIGHLY recommend spending the extra bucks for the coated ones. It's the only way to make'em last in one of our rigs.

I had the coated ones on a Camaro and really liked them, so I will defently be getting a coat set for the Blazer !!!!

I love them on my drag cars, but have been kicking around Thorleys or Flowtech afterburners for the truck though
