Opinions on these mags

Yeah, but all Im looking to do is bring a shop my present set up and have them take my tires off the old wheels and put them on the US Mags...

I understand that. They have always done that for me because I bought the tires there originally. I drop them off and pick them up the next day.

Yeah..me as well. My tires are still good. Besides I cant afford new rubber anyway right now. Hahahahahahah

I like the wheels on my Suburban but since the wheels are 16" and the selection of tires isn't that good i may go with the us mags on it also.

Yeah, 16.5 won't mount mount up on a 17 inch rim

Rims I have now are 17.5.... i think... im pretty sure... possibly.

Edit: wheels are 16.5 or 16 according to the picture
Tires specifically say do not mount on 16’ wheel.

I know you’re not supposed to mismatch the sizes.

I think I am. A couple pay checks I will order them up.

I wonder how much it would cost to take my old tires off and put them on these wheels? Discount tire can do that, I think. Hmm, I did it before with them. But I bought the tires from them and they mounted them of my wheels I brought it

I doubt they would survive rock crawling being aluminum but I have no intention of doing that. Mostly street and the desert is the action I have planned.

Tires I have now will fit on the 17x10 I think???

Sorry 16.5 only with those tires! And you don’t want to buy new 16.5 rims... they are a obsolete size these days.

simple answer is no.

your tires now are made for a 16.5" rim. they will not mount on a 17" rim. also the bead is different on a 16.5" tire than a 17" tire. if you buy 17" rims you will also have to get 17" rim size tires.

Ok....looks like I need to save a bit longer and just get new rims and tires... luckily, I guess, the tires still have good tread and no dry-rot.

Thanks....

With that said... If I go 17x10 us mags.
i can run35x12.5.... 37x12.5 upto 40x12.5 tires, correct?

You could run even up to a 14.50 wide.... You should try and go with what the tire manufacturer recommends, but you could get up to a 14.5 on there no problem. Overall diameter does not matter so much.

Daaaaamn. Looks great. Im saving my $$ now. What size tire and lift are you rocking?
4" EZ Rides and 1" zero rate and 295/70 17. I loved the wheels, but the were 17X10. the 17's didn't look right ad the 10" wheel caused th front tires to get into the fenders too easily so those were short lived. If I could find 16X8 slotted mags that's what it would have.
