1/2 ton status
after much searching i found all of the parts to repair my 12bolt rear. i didn't spend any money where i didn't absolutely have to as im waiting to spend my money on 1-tons.
i decided that im tired of the open diff in the rear and that its time to go welded...well since the pieces were out of the axle i just welded them on the work bench.
this was all fine and dandy until i went to reassemble the rear and noticed that some idiot
welded in the pin that holds in the spiders, that would be me. now i cant put in the c-clips
so for those who are going to weld up your rear please dont make my mistake. soon as i get a camera ill post some pics of my fail...
