why not just check advanced auto. pep boys or discount auto. ANything you find online will kill you in shipping.

I currently run dual batts. one yellow and one red. :D

buy them local, easier to warranty, I get mine from costco, sams club sells them too.

I'm off of optimas...Never again tired of changing them...if you can afford them get stingers from a stereo shop...more power and will last longer

Why are you charging them? I have run a few completely dead and had to do a slow charge before but its not like they go dead all the time. Each time I ran them dead it was my fault.

To each their own, I love optimas. One thing for sure I wont buy any battery that is not sealed. No need to deal with corroded terminals or cables with a sealed battery.

He said changing not charging.:rolleyes::deal:

Optima currently has a $25 mail in rebate going until the end of September. I saw the rebate forms at a Pep Boys Auto. You can probobly print one online at the Optima web site to.

Sorry I mis read that but the same question applies.

I used to salvage optimas out of the junkyard I worked at. Completely dead optimas put on a trickle charge for about 2 days will save an optima. I have done it at least 25 times and have yet to find a junk optima.

My problem is going through vehicles (buying and selling not abusing and destroying) and the batt usually goes with them. So I have to buy more. I am sick of normal car batteries that always come in the vehicles I buy seams they are always dead if you let them sit for a while. Never had problems with optimas.

OH and I looked up stinger batteries......fock that, the price is outragious!

EDIT: seams the stinger web site is over priced but they can be found for simular price to optimas on other sites. Sorry for that as well.

I agree, I love my red tops! I have left them sit in my truck for months and they fire right up everytime. My buddy once accidently dropped a 1/2" ratchiting wrench across the terminals and we both near had to change our pants! Kaboom! Won't get that with a regular battery!

We did that on purpose at work one time.... We did lots of dumb things.

Your best bet would be to find a super cheap price online and then go to a chain store and have them match it.

Yep O'Reilleys price matched an online add for both of mine. Use red top for cranking and yellow for fans w/o alt. and can load,tune and make at least 6 passes with no problems.
