What about Odyssey batteries? I heard they were good batteries. Anyone have any input on these?

We have run red tops in all our farm equipment and trucks for the past 10 to 15 years. Have had good luck with them. Still have never replaced one yet, even with ones losing charge. If one is dead, hook up a charged battery to the dead one and then put a charger on the charged battery. Its worked for us. My .02

Odyssey Batts are very good batteries mainly because they are a pure lead battery. It gives them more power in a smaller package. It also causes them to be very expensive.
Jay, I've got dual Redtops, mainly becuase I found them cheap on the local yardsale site. I've run the primary dead several times from leaving the dome light on in the truck and not going back to the truck for a week or more. Flip to the secondary to start and run around a bit before going back to the primary. I haven't had a problem with them other than my own dumbassedness.

I have Odyessy batteries in both of my trucks. They work really well and they fit like the stock battery. No need to rearrange battery cables.
