Well as some of you know, I really mangled up my frontend at the Badlands this past weekend. So my big priority when I get setup in a shop back down in Texas is to swap on a rustfree body, change up the front end, and add body armor and a cage. Now I got to thinking about the best way to do the front end and there's actually a lot of options. So I guess I'm just looking for opinions here. Feel free to tell me what you think.

First, you've got tapered front ends like Bowtie runs:

Or you could go with a taper and a cut flatfender look like this toyota:

Or a full tubed out front end like big bird, or even more extreme:

Or just go back stock and pray I don't beat it up again.

What do yall think on this subject?

that might be an option.. i haven't seen a rig like ours done this way.. my brothers has that flat fender look like the toy, but no taper job, or atleast not yet..

if you want the least amount of damage while wheeling then the least amount of sheet metal is desired.. /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif

I've thought about cutting my fenders out along the body armor kinda like that toy.

I like the flat fender taper look, with the back cut to match.

I've become kind of partial to the drop and taper with factory skins:
like this if you keep the firewall:

Or like this if you go a bit farther with it:

If you're going to be in mud I'd recommend some kind of fender, this thing is a serious mud slinger and at this point, it all lands in your lap. We've considered putting some kind of removable fender on it for playing on the mountain trails in the spring.
